Another case of gold smuggling has come to light at Delhi Airport. The Customs Department has seized 340 grams of gold from a man. The value of the recovered gold is estimated to be around Rs 15 lakh. The accused is of Indian origin and he was bringing this gold from Dubai. The accused is being questioned.
According to the information received, the accused landed at Delhi Airport on October 15 from Dubai to India flight number UK224. In the search of the accused, the Customs Department recovered gold from his belongings. Gold was transformed into skate boards and trolley parts. The officers of the Customs Department were also stunned after seeing the vicious style of the accused.

The value of the recovered gold is said to be Rs 15.57 lakh. The accused confessed in interrogation that he had smuggled gold from Dubai earlier. He brought 116 grams of gold from Dubai. That time he was successful in escaping. He is currently being questioned.
