The central government has also praised the ITBP for the protection of the country on the inaccessible peaks and against the corona virus epidemic. On completion of 58 years of establishment of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Minister of State for Home Kishan Reddy praised the service and dedication of the security force.
The ITBP Foundation Day celebrations were celebrated in Greater Noida. On the 59th Foundation Day, Chief Guest Reddy paid tribute to the martyrs of ITBP. ITBP Director General SS Deswal highlighted various achievements of the security force. On this occasion, many officers of ITBP were honored with President’s Police Medal for distinguished service and Police Medal for Meritorious Service. In a vote of thanks, Additional Director General of ITBP Amrit Mohan Prasad said that ITBP is always dedicated to the security and service of the country.
The battalion of ITBP in various fields has been awarded excellent work for the 10th Border Best Border Battalion, 26th Corps Best Non Border Battalion and 53rd Corps Best ANO Battalion, 36th Corps Best Green Battalion, and 41st Corps Best Battalion for Cleanliness Declared and awarded with a trophy.
