Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Saturday targeted his counterpart Manohar Lal Khattar in Haryana for taking action against farmers agitating against agricultural laws. Amarinder Singh said that he would not answer the phone calls of the Haryana CM, the way he has treated the farmers.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has said in his response to the peasant movement that he is not a farmer in his state. Punjab is responsible for the protests. Khattar thanked the Haryana Police for being restrained. However, the Haryana Police is under criticism for lathi-charge on farmers and dropping tear gas shells.
Farmers are agitating against agricultural laws. Thousands of farmers traveled from Punjab to Haryana (Haryana). But he was stopped from place to place.
