Farmers have been protesting at the border for 88 days against the new agricultural laws. The farmers’ organizations are engaged in the life-threatening agitation seen after the violence on the Red Fort on 26 January. In view of this, farmers have made a special strategy for the next week. During this time farmers will organize different programs.

According to the United Kisan Morcha (SKM), farmers will celebrate Turban Handle Day, Anti-Daman Day, Youth Farmers Day and Mazdoor Kisan Ekta Day. These events will be held from 23 to 27 February.

Decision to end government movement
Farmer leader Yogendra Yadav said that the government is adopting all kinds of tactics to end the movement. The protesters are being shown fear of arrest and detention. Cases are also being filed against him. He said that the Singhu border has been converted into a fort. It is as if we are standing on an international border.

The long term plan of the movement will be discussed
He said that in view of the Parliament session from 8 March, the long term plan of the movement will be discussed and the strategy will be shared in the next meeting of SKM. Another farmer leader Darshan Pal Singh also accused the government. He said that out of 122 people arrested by the Delhi Police in connection with the violence and sabotage during the Kisan rally on Republic Day, about 32 people have been granted bail.

Farmers are preparing to last long
The agitating farmers are now preparing in view of the hot weather after experiencing the harsh cold. They have started installing fans in tents. Along with this, by increasing the height of the tent, you are putting another tent in it to avoid the heat. Along with this, AC trolleys are also seen at the picketing sites. Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait has said that the movement will last until at least October.
