Bhandari, who has been engaged in social service since he retired seven years ago, said that when he came to know about Paruli Devi living in Lunthura village with her brothers since her husband’s death on June 14, 1952, she found herself in his Could not stop helping.

Bhandari said that on inquiry, it was found that Paruli Devi is entitled to pension under the ex-servicemen family pension scheme of the Government of India.
