According to DD News, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) appeared on the military base at 11.30 pm on Sunday night and at 3 am. After this the army is on alert.
Drone attack for the first time in the country
Two days ago, on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday, two drone blasts were carried out at the Jammu Air Force Station. The roof of the Air Force station was damaged in this attack and two soldiers were also injured. Two IEDs were dropped inside the airbase through drones. The damage was not much, but it was the first attack of its kind. Both the blasts took place between 1.30 pm and 2 pm on Saturday night. The blast happened close to the Indian aircraft. This place is at a distance of 14 kilometers from the International Border.
Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh called the attack a terrorist attack. Shortly after this attack, a Lashkar terrorist was arrested with 6 kg of explosives.
