A domestic help has been arrested for allegedly killing a 42-year-old man by slitting his throat after a beating in Haryana’s Gurugram. Giving information about this on Sunday, the police said that the accused has revealed that the deceased was in a state of intoxication and abusing him, so he took this step in anger. He told that an FIR has been registered in the Sohna Sadar police station in connection with the said case and the interrogation of 22-year-old Pawan alias Chhotu, a resident of Kanpur, is going on.

Police said that the deceased has been identified as Satish Yadav, a resident of Ward 10 of Sohna, who was a farmer by profession. Yadav’s village was near Jakhopur and he had hired Pawan to look after him about two weeks ago.
Police said that the said incident happened on Saturday night. Yadav was drinking alcohol in his field and Pawan was serving him. After midnight, a scuffle broke out between the two and in a fit of rage, the domestic helper slit his throat with a knife and fled from the spot.
According to the police, Yadav’s body was found by his family members in a pool of blood on Sunday morning. He informed the police and the officials who reached the spot handed over the body to the relatives after the postmortem. On the complaint of the deceased’s brother Sandeep Yadav, an FIR has been registered against the domestic helper under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Sohna Sadar police station.
Inspector Jai Singh, in-charge of Sohna Sadar police station said, “The accused has been arrested, who has confessed his involvement in the crime. We are interrogating him and will produce him in the city court soon.”
