When a 26-year-old man’s health deteriorated in Nepal, doctors performed surgery and took out a bottle of vodka from his stomach. The case pertains to Gujra municipality of Rautahat district. After the complaint of severe pain in the stomach of Noorsad Mansoori here, emergency surgery had to be done during the medical examination. One person has been arrested in this case.

‘The Himalayan Times’ newspaper reported that the youth was admitted to a hospital five days ago. A two-and-a-half-hour surgery was performed to successfully remove the bottle. A doctor who performed the surgery said, “The bottle had ruptured his bowel, causing leakage of faeces. His bowels were swollen, but he is out of danger after the surgery.”
According to the police, Noorsad’s friends may have got him drunk. After this, a bottle must have been forcefully inserted in his stomach through his private part. The report states that it is suspected that the bottle was inserted into Noorsad’s stomach through the private part.
Rautahat police has arrested one Sheikh Samim in connection with the incident. Some friends of Noorsad have also been questioned. The Regional Police Office of Chandrapur was quoted as saying, “We have suspicions on Sameem. He is being interrogated in custody.” Rautahat Superintendent of Police Bir Bahadur Budha Magar said, “Some other friends of Nursad are absconding. A search is on for them.”
