Toolkit Case: Environmental activist Disha Ravi (Disha Ravi) arrested in Toolkit case has got bail from Patiala House Court. 22-year-old Disha got bail on a personal bond of one lakh. Disha’s police sought a 4-day police remand. A Delhi court granted strict bail for the freedom of speech and expression and the right to disagree in the country while granting direction bail.

The court said, “Considering the scant and incomplete evidence in the record, I cannot find any convincing reason for breaking the bail rule for a 22-year-old girl who has no criminal history.”
In the toolkit case, the court said that citizens are supposed to awaken the conscience of the government. They cannot be sent to jail simply because they disagree with the government’s policies. Even our ancestors recognized freedom of speech and freedom of expression as a fundamental right.
Delhi’s Patiala House Court said, ‘Disha Ravi And there does not appear to be any direct link between the banned organization ‘Sikhs for Justice’. There is clearly nothing that indicates that Disha Ravi has supported any separatist idea.
The court said, “It is not a crime to create a WhatsApp group or to be the editor of a harmless toolkit.” The court said that the investigating agency cannot be allowed to further restrict civil liberties on the basis of favorable predictions.
Disha Ravi was arrested from Bangalore by a team of Delhi Police’s Cyber Cell and brought to Delhi. Additional Sessions Judge Dharmendra Rana granted this relief to Ravi on a personal bond of one lakh rupees and two sureties of the same amount. (Input from language also)
