Kavita demands that there should be 33 per cent reservation for women in the Assemblies.
Kavitha, daughter of Telangana CM KCR, will stage a sit-in today at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar demanding the Women’s Reservation Bill. He will be accompanied by leaders of 17 opposition parties. However, the police has not given permission to picket. On this Kavita said that the permission was given earlier. Now suddenly how can it be cancelled. I will talk to the police about this. She also said that she would definitely protest at Jantar Mantar.
Kavita said – there should be 33 percent reservation for women in the assemblies
Kavita said that the struggle for the Women’s Reservation Bill is going on for the last 27 years. No matter how many governments changed, it did not get approval. There should be 33 percent reservation for women in the Legislative Assemblies. We will continue our fight for this bill. BJP had promised Women’s Reservation Bill in 2014 and 2019 elections, but is not talking about it now.
ED will interrogate Kavita in liquor policy case on March 11
The ED has called Kavita for questioning on March 11 in the Delhi Liquor Policy case. On this, she has accused the central government of misusing the investigative agencies. Kavita said that where elections are held, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) reaches there before Modi. Kavita further said that I will consult my team regarding appearing before the ED after the dharna at Jantar Mantar. I will fully cooperate with the investigation. Earlier, on December 12, 2022, CBI had interrogated Kavita for about 7 hours in Hyderabad.
BRS leader Kavita reached Delhi on Wednesday to protest in support of the Women’s Reservation Bill.
Kavita’s close ED is in custody
The ED is probing the money laundering complaints in the Delhi Liquor Policy case. On Tuesday, a Delhi court ordered Hyderabad-based businessman Arun Ramachandran Pillai to be sent to ED custody till March 13. Arun is considered close to K Kavita. Pillai is alleged to have sent Rs 100 crore to the Aam Aadmi Party for a change in the liquor policy. The court had sent another liquor baron Amandeep Dhall to judicial custody till March 21.
K Kavita was questioned by the CBI for 7 hours in Hyderabad in December.
The ED alleges that K Kavitha is part of the “South Cartel”, which made money through bribery by changing Delhi’s liquor policy. Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena ordered a CBI inquiry into the Delhi liquor policy. The policy was later withdrawn Both the ED and the CBI have alleged that bribery from the ‘South Cartel’ lobby led to irregularities in the liquor policy change. MPs were involved.
Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on 26 February.
Manish Sisodia arrested in Delhi liquor policy case
Manish Sisodia, Minister of Excise Department of Delhi Government, is lodged in Tihar Jail in connection with liquor policy. Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on February 26 after nearly 8 hours of questioning. At present he is in Tihar Jail, on Tuesday the ED interrogated him in the jail itself.

ED reaches Tihar for questioning Sisodia, investigation of second agency after CBI in liquor policy case
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) team has reached Tihar Jail to interrogate Manish Sisodia, who is lodged in Tihar Jail in connection with the liquor policy case.
