To deal with the problem of shortage of ICU beds in the growing cases of Corona in Delhi, Delhi Government has prepared 411 new ICU beds of Corona in the capital in the last 5 days. According to the Delhi government, 29 beds have been added on 17 November, 100 beds on 18 November, 76 beds on 19 November and 206 beds on 21 November.
These ICU beds have been added to the hospitals of both the Central Government and the Government of Delhi. Following the order to reserve 80% ICU beds in private hospitals, the number of ICU beds has also been increased in many private hospitals.
Recently, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced to increase 663 ICU beds in Delhi government hospitals. After which the order related to increasing 663 ICU beds in 11 hospitals of Delhi Government was also issued.
Earlier, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had said that every person’s life matters, so there should be no VIP or non-VPIP category for vaccines to protect against COVID-19, rather than Corona warriors. , Senior citizens and those suffering from other diseases should be given priority. The Chief Minister said that it is expected that the Central Government will formulate a plan for distribution of vaccines, but he will give priority to priority-based vaccination, which will be technical rather than political in nature.
CM Arvind Kejriwal said in a private conference, “The whole world and Delhi government are eagerly waiting for the vaccine, it is estimated that the Central Government will prepare the distribution plan. If they ask for suggestions from us, then when it comes to vaccination of people, there should be no VIP or non-VIP categories. All are equal and life of all is important.
