Delhi Police has exposed a gang raising money by showing fear of monkey in the capital. This gang showed people fear of monkey and then asked them to give money. The Special Cell of Delhi Police has caught a gang who used to keep monkeys with them and surrounded them with monkeys and used to intimidate them, then used to snatch money from them with fear.

According to DCP Atul Thakur of South Delhi, on April 2, a lawyer by profession living in Malviya Nagar complained that a gang of 3 people, who were carrying a monkey, surrounded them with monkeys. Then the monkeys made such a mouth as if they would bite. The people of the gang said that give the money that you have, otherwise the monkey will not leave. Then due to fear, the lawyer had to pay 6000 rupees in the monkey’s hand.

The police registered a case on the complaint of the lawyer and started the investigation. After this, on April 8, the police came to know that some people were walking around the Chirag Delhi flyover carrying a monkey. The police went to the spot and caught 2 people, Balwan Nath and Salin Nath, while their partner Ajay absconded. 2 monkeys have also been recovered from them. The accused told that they have been snatching money by intimidating people through monkeys.
