Delhi's revenue minister Kailash Gehlot said that the number of containment zones created to prevent corona virus infection in Delhi has come down from 715 to 496. Earlier there were 3,48,099 people in the Containment Zones, now the population of the people living in the Containment Zones is 1,06,211.
According to Kailash Gehlot, 'On July 29, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had expressed concern that the Containment Zones are very large due to which restrictions are imposed on the arrival of a large population. In the last two days, the Revenue Department along with the Health Department reviewed the Containment Zones in Delhi. After this, the result is that where 3,48,099 people were living in sanctions in 715 Containment Zones, now only 1,06,211 people are living in Restrictions in 496 Containment Zones.
