He was a student of Government Model Higher Secondary School in Silvarapatti, Periyakulam and scored 664 out of a total of 720 in his second attempt to take the exam. Jeevithkumar said that he might not be able to do medical studies because even paying the fees of government colleges is out of his family’s reach.

He said, “It was not my purpose to become a doctor, but I tried it because the exam was very difficult. Now I would like to do MBBS course, but my family will not be able to pay the fees of government colleges except private colleges, I request people Want to help me in my studies, “
He thanked his teachers at his school for his guidance and help in enrolling in a coaching institute for the preparation of NEET.

Jivithkumar further said, “Last year, I took the exam only to realize how tough it is. I planned to give it again and my teachers helped me get into an NEET coaching and this time I was able to score 664, which made me a national topper among government school students across the country. “
Jeevithkumar’s mother Parmeshwari Devi, an MNREGA activist, expressed happiness at her son’s success and thanked his teachers for their help and guidance.
