He said, “Epidemic infection is continuously increasing in neighboring states like Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh. Due to this, the number of infected people is increasing exceptionally in Madhya Pradesh as well.”

The Chief Minister reiterated that he is currently not in favor of a long-term lockdown in the state for the prevention of Kovid-19 as it destroys the economy and destroys the poor.
