The total number of infected people has increased to 1,09,91,651 with 14,264 new cases of Covid-19 (Covid-19 Cases) in the country (Covid-19 in India) in the last 24 hours. An increase in new daily cases has been recorded for the fourth consecutive day. This information has been revealed by the data updated by the Union Health Ministry on Sunday. According to the data till eight o’clock in the morning, the death toll in this epidemic in the country increased to 1,56,302 with 90 more deaths due to infection. The number of people who have been cured of the disease has increased to 1,06,89,715, due to which the cure rate of Kovid-19 patients in the country has increased to 97.25 percent. At the same time, the death rate is 1.42 percent. The number of patients under Kovid-19 in the country remains below 1.5 lakh. According to the data, the number of patients undergoing Corona virus infection is 1,45,634, which is 1.32 percent of the total cases. On January 29, 18,855 new daily cases were reported in the country. In India, cases of Kovid-19 crossed the 20 lakh mark on 7 August, while 30 lakh on 23 August, 40 lakh on 5 September and 50 lakh on 16 September. It crossed 60 lakh on 28 September, while 70 lakh on 11 October, 80 lakh on 29 October, 90 lakh on 20 November and crossed 1 crore on 19 December. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 21,09,31,530 samples have been tested across the country till 20 February. Of the 90 patients who lost their lives in the country, 40 are from Maharashtra, 13 from Kerala and 8 from Punjab. So far, there have been a total of 1,56,302 deaths in the country, of which 51,753 have occurred in Maharashtra, while 12,457 in Tamil Nadu, 12,292 in Karnataka, 10,898 in Delhi, 10,246 in West Bengal, 8,714 in Uttar Pradesh and 7,167 in Andhra Pradesh. The Health Ministry stressed that more than 70 percent of the deaths were due to other diseases. The ministry said on its website, “Our data is being matched with ICMR data.”
