Corona virus cases are increasing rapidly in India. The second wave of Kovid-19 is spreading the wave in the country. For the last few days, more than one lakh cases are being reported continuously. At the same time, if you look at the figures of the last four days, then the number of new cases of corona is continuously going above 1.5 lakhs. On the other hand, the work of vaccination in the country is also going on very fast. About 3 million people are being vaccinated every day in the country. To accelerate vaccination, the government has started the ‘Teeka Utsav’, under which more and more people are being vaccinated.

Important information related to the case:

  1. Till date, 11.43 crore people have been vaccinated with more than 31.39 lakh doses of vaccines till 8 pm on Wednesday, the fourth day of the nationwide ‘Tika Utsav’. More than one crore vaccines have been administered in three states – Maharashtra (1,11,19,018), Rajasthan (1,02,15,471) and Uttar Pradesh (1,00,17,650).

  2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Wednesday that the government is committed to adequate availability of anti-Kovid-19 vaccines. He also called for the use of the combined power of community organizations, political parties and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) against the epidemic. In the wake of the growing cases of Kovid-19 across the country and the ongoing vaccination campaign against this epidemic, Modi interacted with the Governors and Lt. Governors of all States and Union Territories through video conferences, uniting them with state governments of social organizations. Also appealed to work.

  3. Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, and Maharashtra have also postponed their state board examinations for these classes after the CBSE canceled the 10th board exam and postponed the 12th board exam. States like West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh said that they are monitoring the situation. Karnataka said that it will conduct examinations as per the schedule. Meghalaya also said that it is ready to conduct the state board examination for class 12 but after reviewing the situation, will decide about the class X examination. The other major board of school examinations, CISCE, has said that it is reviewing the situation and will take a decision soon.

  4. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson reduced the duration of his proposed visit to New Delhi at the end of this month due to the current state of Kovid-19 in India. According to the planned schedule, Johnson’s visit to India is scheduled to begin on April 26. This includes finalizing the UK-India Enhanced Business Partnership.

  5. In Chhattisgarh, corona virus infection has been confirmed among 14,250 new people during the last 24 hours. The number of people infected with this virus in the state has increased to 4,86,244. 120 corona virus-infected patients have died in the state. Out of these, 73 people have died during 24 hours and 47 people have died in the previous days.

  6. There have been 5,398 new cases of corona virus infection in the last 24 hours in Haryana, which is the highest number of Kovid-19 cases in a day. At the same time, 18 more people have died in the state.

  7. Gujarat has the highest number of 7,410 new cases of corona virus infection in a single day while 73 patients died due to infection in the last 24 hours.

  8. The death toll rose to 1651 on Wednesday after 21 more people died during the last 24 hours due to Corona virus infection in Bihar. The number of people so far infected with this disease has increased to 295171.

  9. On Wednesday, 58,952 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Maharashtra, while the total death toll rose to 58,804 with the death of 278 more infected. On April 11, 63,294 cases of infection were reported in Maharashtra, the highest number ever.

  10. In Noida, UP, on Wednesday, Kovid-19 received the highest number of 483 cases in a day so far, after which the total number of infections in the district has increased to 28,439. According to 24-hour data released by the Health Department of Uttar Pradesh, the number of patients being treated for Kovid-19 in Noida has also increased to 2,027.
