Coronavirus continues to wreak havoc across the country. The number of corona-infected people is increasing rapidly with each passing day. Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has canceled the entrance examinations to be held from June 20 to July 11, in view of the surge in Corona cases.

The AMU has said that the new schedule of entrance examinations for 2021-22 will be informed at the right time. The university’s official website amucontrollerexams.com will release a new time table for the entrance exam.

Candidates who have completed class 12th examination with minimum 50% marks can apply for UG programs and those candidates who have completed bachelor’s degree from a recognized university can apply for PG programs Huh.

AMU advised students to return home

Apart from this, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has also advised students to leave campus hostels and return to their homes.

The university said, “The situation has become alarming due to increasing cases of Kovid-19 across India and there is a danger of outbreak of epidemic in hostels as well. Therefore, all students are advised to leave the hostel and go to their respective homes. “
