In Tamil Nadu, on Monday, 449 new corona virus patients were confirmed and six infected died, while in West Bengal 148 more people were found to be infected with Kovid-19 and two died. An official of the state health department said that 55,179 people have been given anti-Kovid vaccine in Bengal on Monday. There was no case of adverse effects of the vaccine in the state. He said that on Monday, about 16,142 people were given the second dose of Kovishield vaccine.
The National Health Mission in Assam said that the total corona virus cases in the northeastern state have reached 2,17,406. In the last 24 hours, no one has died due to infection. Therefore the deceased number is constant at 1091. The mission said in its daily bulletin that after the recovery of 18 patients from infection, the number of patients who have become infection free has reached 2,14,712. At the same time, 256 patients are undergoing treatment for infection. It has been told in the bulletin that so far 1,65,410 people have been given the first dose of anti-Kovid vaccine while 14,060 people have been given the second dose of the vaccine.
