In view of the increasing cases of Corona, the Nitish government has announced to put a complete lockdown in Bihar by May 15. He informed about this decision through Twitter. According to CM Nitish, yesterday after a discussion with the associate ministers and officials, it was decided to implement the lockdown in Bihar till May 15, 2021. He informed that today the Crisis management group has been instructed to take action in relation to its detailed guidelines and other activities.
The conditions of Corona in Bihar are constantly seen to be uncontrolled. After the migrant workers return, the infection is expected to spread rapidly. In such a situation, the government has announced a lockdown. Bihar is among the top states in the country where 81.46 per cent cases of active patients are involved. According to the data released by the Union Ministry on Monday, 81.46 percent of the active patients present in India are in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Bihar and Haryana.
