According to BMC, 71 vacancy centers had to be done in Mumbai today due to lack of vaccine. He told that there are 120 centers in Mumbai where the program of vaccination is going on. Out of these, the vaccine is over at 71 centers. Out of which 47 private, 14 MCGM and 10 government vaccine centers are closed. Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope questioned why the state is being given fewer vaccines of Kovid-19 than some other states, including Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, while the state is at the forefront of vaccination campaigns and the most active cases. Tope had questioned the Center saying that we have limited stock left, informing other states about the vaccine doses, saying that Maharashtra has received 7.5 lakh doses, while Uttar Pradesh has 48 lakh doses, Madhya Pradesh 40 lakh, 30 lakh doses have been given to Gujarat and 24 lakh to Haryana.

He told yesterday that we have barely nine lakh doses left, due to which one or one and a half days will be able to be vaccinated. Also said that many vaccination centers in Satara, Sangli and Panvel have been closed due to lack of vaccines. A day earlier, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan had said that the ‘careless’ attitude of the Maharashtra government has undermined the efforts of the entire country in the fight against this virus.
