This includes Aadhaar-PAN link, ITR and other important works including filling of Form-16. If you have not yet dealt with this, then you have got another chance for this.
Linking PAN to Aadhaar
The government had kept March 31 as the last date for linking PAN with Aadhaar but extended it till June 30, 2020 in view of the lockdown. It has once again been extended to 31 March 2021.
ITR for 2018-19
Income tax returns for FY 2018-19 can be filed by 30 November. Also, revised ITR can also be filed by 31 July. The last date to file them was 30 June.
Tax rebate investment
To save tax, the time limit for investing in Section 80C, 80D, 80E of the Income Tax has been increased from 30 June to 31 July. In such a situation, if you want to invest to get tax exemption, then you can invest till July 30.
Employees usually received Form 16 from their company in the month of May, but this time due to Corona, the government has extended the date of issue of Form 16 to 31 July. Form 16 is a type of TDS certificate, which is required when filing ITR.
