- Company Turned Profit From Loss, Profit Of 1655.6 Crores, Income Also Increased By 27.4%

Pharmaceutical company Sun Pharma has released its June quarter results for the financial year 2021-22. The company has turned profit from loss on a yearly basis. Sun Pharma has made a consolidated profit of Rs 1,444 crore during April to June. Whereas in the same period last year, the company had a loss of Rs 1655.6 crore.
The company’s consolidated revenue during April to June stood at Rs 9669.4 crore, as against Rs 7585 crore in the June quarter last year. Apart from this, the working profit has increased from Rs.1843 crores to Rs.2821 crores.
Focus on Global Business: Dilip Shanghvi
The company’s management director Dilip Shanghvi said, “We are focusing on our global business. For this, preparations are being made to launch new drugs in the US and Canada.”
Growth from the sale of medicines related to Kovid
The company management said that the first quarter saw good sales of pre-existing and covid-related medicines, due to which the business saw strong growth. All businesses performed well in the first quarter of this year as compared to the fourth quarter of last year.
