Research was conducted on 634 players. The commentator reviewed 2,074 statements. Players were scored from 1 to 20, depending on the skin, and were then designated as lighter skinned players or dark skinned players. Players were coded according to skin tone using a database of Football Manager 2020 video games. Research has found that players with dark skin are 6.59 times more likely to comment on their strength. His speed is commented 3.38 times more often. More than 60% of the praise on intelligence and work ethics is for players with lighter skin tones.
