The Chinook chopper was seen removing the debris of the MI-17 helicopter of the Indian Air Force crashed in Kedarnath on Saturday. The Mi-17 chopper caught fire on an iron girder while landing on the helipad near the Kedarnath temple in 2018.

The wreckage of the Mi-17 helicopter was taken to a nearby airbase. Preparations have been going on for the last 15 days to lift the debris. Recently, Air Force officials visited Kedarnath Dham to take stock of the damaged helicopter.

The Chinook chopper landed on the MI-17 helipad at Kedarnath on Saturday to carry the wreckage of the Indian Air Force’s Mi-17 helicopter. The pilot suffered minor injuries in the incident in 2018, while the chopper was completely damaged. The IAF left the debris right here.
