In Naxal-affected Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh, surrendered female Naxalites hanged themselves in the restroom.
Police officials of Dantewada district said on Tuesday that surrendered female Naxalite Pandey Kavasi hanged himself in the women’s rest room of DRG office located at the district headquarters. Police officials said that on the 19th of this month, the woman Naxalite Jogi Kavasi and the female Naxalite Pandey Kavasi had surrendered on the 19th of this month, influenced by the ongoing Lone Varratu (Come Back Home) campaign in the district.

Police officials said that after getting information about the incident, doctors also reached the women’s rest room where they declared Pandey Kavasi dead after the test. He said that the police has sent the dead body for postmortem and investigation into the case has been started.
