meeting of opposition parties

A meeting of opposition parties was also held on Monday morning to chalk out a strategy for the second phase of the budget session of Parliament. In which 16 parties participated. In this meeting held in the chamber of Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge in the Parliament House complex, the opposition parties discussed several issues.

In the second part of the budget session, a meeting of senior ministers was held in the PM’s room in Parliament House to finalize the government’s strategy. Apart from PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, Information Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur were present in the meeting.

Significantly, the budget session of the Parliament started on January 31, the day President Draupadi Murmu addressed the joint sitting of both the Houses of the Parliament. As per the schedule, the second phase of the session will start from March 13 and continue till April 6.
