Cebu Pacific has increased capacity and upgraded
the aircraft it uses on flights to Tacloban, Dumaguete
and Butuan, Philippines.
The airline is now using Airbus A320neo which are
more environmentally friendly aircraft, reduce noise pollution
and feature 188 seats that are
equipped with USB ports so that passengers can recharge their
mobile devices inflight.
The airline currently flies up to six
times daily between Manila and Tacloban, while the Cebu-Tacloban
route is served twice daily every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday,
Saturday and Sunday, and thrice daily on Mondays and

Cebu Pacific flies four
times daily between Manila and Dumaguete, and daily
between Cebu and Dumaguete every Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and
Sunday, and twice daily on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
The carrier also flies six times daily between Manila and Butuan,
and serves the
Cebu-Butuan route twice daily every Monday, Tuesday,
Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and thrice daily on
Wednesdays and Sundays.
“We recently added more seats using
our new A320neo as we see increasing demand. This upgrade will
accommodate more passengers and carry more cargo,” said Xander
Lao, Chief Commercial Officer at Cebu Pacific. “We are the
airline that serves these three destinations the most, which
encourages trade and tourism in the Visayas and Mindanao.”
