CBI ask questions to Trinamool Congress’ Abhishek Banerjees sister-in-law

A team of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Coal theft case Trinamool MP on Tuesday for questioning in coal mining case Abhishek Banerjee (Abhishek Banerjee) wife’s sister Maneka reached Gambhir’s residence in Kolkata. Officials said that Maneka was given notice on Sunday after which two women officers of CBI are questioning her at her residence. Wife is sister of Rujira Banerjee. Banerjee told the CBI a day earlier that she would be available for questioning in connection with the case at her residence on Harish Mukherjee Marg on February 23 from 11 am to 3 pm.

Trinamool Congress MP from Diamond Harbor, Abhishek is the nephew of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The Central Investigation Agency alleged Manjhi alias Lala, the alleged mastermind of the theft racket in November last, General Manager of Eastern Coalfield Limited (ECL) -Amit Kumar Dhar (erstwhile Kunustoria Region and now Pandveshwar Area) and Jayesh Chandra Rai (Cajor region), ECL’s security chief Tanmay Das, area security inspector, Kunustoria, Dhananjay Rai and SSI and Debashish Mukherjee, security in-charge of Kajor region. It is alleged that Manjhi alias Lala is involved in illegal mining and theft of coal from ECL leased mines in Kunustoria and Kajor areas.
