Today is the second day of the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) World Cup Shooting Championship. 38 players from different countries including 4 players from India are aiming for gold. It began at 9.30 am with the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team round. India’s Raju Narmada Nitin and R Patil won the bronze medal by defeating China.
In this category, 4 players, Hung Yutin of China, Sendh Liho and Danes Astar-Isvan Penni of Hungary landed for gold. Hung Yutin of China won the gold medal by defeating Sendh Liho, Danes Astar of Hungary and Iswan Peni. India’s Sarabjot Singh won 1 gold, Varun Tomar won bronze on the first day on Wednesday. In the women’s category, China’s Li Juyi won the gold and Germany’s Doreen Wennekamp won the silver medal.
India’s Narmada Raju Nitin and R. Patil won the bronze medal by defeating China.

Players from countries like India, Korea, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh, Japan, Hungary, Switzerland, USA, Denmark, Czechia, Israel, Uzbekistan etc are participating in the 10m Air Rifle Mix and 10m Air Pistol rounds on Thursday. There are more than 300 players from 30 countries. 37 shooters from India are participating in the competition. These include 20 men and 17 women.

The 21-year-old Hriday Hazarika has won 1 gold and 1 bronze medal in the World Championship and one in the ISSF Junior World Cup.
