Maruti Suzuki has launched the CNG (Brezza S-CNG) version of its most popular SUV Brezza in India. The car is the first sub-compact SUV in the country to be equipped with a factory-fitted CNG kit. The company claims that this car will give a mileage of 25.51 KM/KG on CNG fuel.

The company has launched the new Maruti Suzuki Brezza S-CNG in 4 variants at a starting price of Rs 9.14 lakh. Booking for this is already open. The Brezza S-CNG is powered by the same K-series 1.5L Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine as the petrol variant. This engine generates maximum power output of 64.6kW at 5500rpm and peak torque of 121.5Nm at 4200rpm. This engine is tuned with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Many hi-tech features are available in Maruti Brezza. It gets a large 9.0-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and over 40 connected functions via app support. Some of the other hi-tech features include an electric sunroof, a head-up display (HUD), 6 airbags, 360-degree parking camera and a lot more.

The SUV gets a redesigned grille, twin C-shaped LED DRLs. There are also new all-LED headlamps, updated front and rear bumpers with skid plates, new dual-tone alloy wheels and LED taillamps. The company has introduced this SUV in 9 color schemes. There’s also an updated 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine, which also powers the XL6 and Ertiga. This motor generates 101 bhp power and 136.8 Nm peak torque.
