In the video, the announcer is shown calling VD Sharma’s name. Scindia reaches the stage when the state BJP chief comes to speak. He is seen talking to VD Sharma briefly and then VD Sharma returns to his seat smiling.
At that time Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was also on the dais. On this video, the Congress took a dig at Jyotiraditya Scindia, saying that it was his “tradition of sidelining other leaders”. Giving clarification on this issue, BJP’s state media in-charge Lokendra Parashar said that it has been a tradition for the state party chief to address at the end of any programme. He said, “In the Bharatiya Janata Party, the president’s respect is supreme. The Congress cannot understand this. The party’s president is the most respected and hence his speech comes at the end.”
Lokendra Parashar said that Jyotiraditya Scindia had intervened in the honor of the state BJP president. Earlier, Congress media cell head KK Mishra had tweeted, “It was politics. That’s why Scindia stopped VD Sharma from giving a speech at a government function in Shivpuri. It is the tradition of the Scindia family to sideline other leaders.” Let’s go ahead.”
