Assam Assembly Election The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) -led NDA coalition has managed to form the government for the second time. However, the question of who will be the next Chief Minister of Assam still remains. The question is whether BJP Sarbananda Sonowal Will make Sarbananda Sonowal the Chief Minister for the second time or else Himanta Biswa Sarma (Himanta Biswa Sarma)? The senior BJP leader told NewsBust that the party’s parliamentary board meeting could be held in a day or two to decide the name of the chief minister. The party has to choose between Sonowal and Sarma.
The BJP leader said that both leaders are equally good. He said that it is unlikely that the post of Deputy Chief Minister will be created to accommodate the two leaders. The entire exercise will take some time as the party leadership is still busy with the violence after the Bengal elections.
He said that party president JP Nadda will stay in Bengal for two days and the BJP will give a dharna demonstration across the country. The issue of leadership in Assam will be resolved amicably and there will be no problem.
Let us know that the ruling BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has won 74 seats in the 126-member Assam Assembly. Congress-led Mahajot captured 50 seats. In the 2016 assembly elections, BJP alone won 60 seats.
The BJP had not made it clear before the election that Sonowal would be the next Chief Minister of the state. Because of this, all kinds of speculations are being made about the Chief Minister.
