Janata Dal United (JDU) has decided to separate from the BJP and fight alone in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections to be held in 2022. This decision was taken unanimously in the National Committee of Janata Dal United. JD (I) Principal General Secretary KC Tyagi told NewsBust, “We did not contest elections in UP in 2017, it has caused a lot of damage to the party.”

KC Tyagi said, “Our party’s national committee has unanimously decided that UP is a state connected with Bihar where our government policies have been well publicized.
