Tejaswi Yadav told NewsBust, “People are angry. Angry. There is a double engine government for 15 years but Bihar could not get special state status, poverty could not be eradicated. Unemployment in Bihar is at a peak. Unemployment rate in Bihar is 46.6. There is a big issue of migration here, meaning every other family migrates, about education, medicine, treatment, livelihood.

He said that there is a lot of anger and resentment towards the double engine government among the people, especially there is a lot of anger towards Nitish Kumar. Whatever their plans are, seven decisions, they have not yet reached the end.

On being called a novice on behalf of CM Nitish Kumar, Tejashwi Yadav said that if there was no experience then why did he create a deputy CM. We spent all the budget money. We completed a big project. We were deputy CMs in 18 months. No atmosphere was spoiled, but the atmosphere deteriorated after the arrival of BJP-JDU. The public has created a mood to change the government.

On the question of giving tickets to musclemen and criminals, he said that we have given tickets on the basis of survey. Whatever has been the case, no decision has been taken on them. The cases are pending in court. You see, Manju Verma, an accused in the Muzaffarpur Girls’ Home case, has been given a ticket again by the JDU.

Regarding Chirag Paswan, Tejashwi Yadav said that this is his own decision, will be his strategy, we will not comment on it. People are angry with Nitish and BJP. Whether he (Chirag Paswan) will be in the NDA later or not is his own decision.
