BBL 2020-21: Big Bash League was played between Sydney Thunders and Sydney Sixers vs Sydney Sixers. The Sydney Sixers won the match by 5 wickets thanks to the sharp bowling of Steve O’Keefe and the dashing innings of Josh Philippe. Steve O’Keefe took three wickets for 15 runs, for which he was awarded the Man of the Match award. Josh Philippe, who played for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL, played a big knock in this match. Sydney Sixers opener batsman Josh Philippe scored 64 off 36 balls. He surprised everyone by hitting 23 runs in one over. Its video is becoming quite viral on social media.

The Sydney Sixers won the toss and decided to bowl first. Sydney Thunders scored 166 runs in 20 overs. Alex Hales scored 54 runs and Daniel Samms scored 50 runs. Steve O’Keefe took 3 wickets from the Sixers.
The Sixers started off to chase 167 runs. But the rain disrupted the match. Sydney had to score 132 runs in 14 overs under Duckworth Lewis, which was easily scored by the Sixers.
