Australia’s camp has come to India to play the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The Australian team is practicing at Alur in Bengaluru before leaving for Nagpur. Some photos have come out from the practice in which Australian players like R Ashwin are practicing in front of Mahesh Pithia with bowling action. It is coming out that the Australian team does not want to repeat its past mistakes.
Practicing on special track
The team pitch has been made by the Australian players at Alur ground. It has been prepared by the Karnataka Cricket Association. The pitch has turn and is a bit rough. Such pitches often happen on the third or fourth day in India. Similar pitch is also seen in Nagpur.

Why are kangaroos scared of Ashwin?
R Ashwin is the biggest threat for Australia in India. Ashwin played 8 Test matches in India against Australia. In this he took 50 wickets. Only Harbhajan and Anil Kumble are ahead of Ashwin in this matter. Australian players do not want to take any kind of risk.
Mahesh bowls like Ashwin
Mahesh of Gujarat takes bowling action exactly like R Ashwin. No spinner in the world can copy Ashwin perfectly. But, facing Pithia in the coming days will at least allow the Aussies to tap into top spinner Ashwin’s action.
Who is Mahesh Pithia
Mahesh Pithia is from Junagadh, Gujarat. He plays Ranji for Baroda. He has made his debut only in December 2022. Pithia did not see Ashwin bowl until he was 11 years old. Pithia saw Ashwin bowling against West Indies in 2013 and from there he got inspiration to bowl like Ashwin.
