Classes for the final year students of Banaras Hindu University will start from 22 February i.e. tomorrow. BHU had earlier said that classes would be conducted in both online and offline modes.
Let me tell you, schools, colleges, institutes across the country were closed due to the lockdown from March last year due to Corona virus. Now after the introduction of Corona vaccine in the country, educational institutions are being opened gradually.

Around 100 students of Broca Hostel, Institute of Science reported for allocation.

The decision to reopen the BHU campus and hostel for final year students was taken in a meeting chaired by the Vice Chancellor of the University. This meeting was held on 5 February.
To attend the classes, students have to follow the guidelines related to COVID-19 and bring a No Objection Certificate. The format of the certificate is available on the official website of BHU.
BHU final year students have to fill the self declaration form before coming to campus again. Which will have to be shown to the campus officials. Only after this, students will be allowed to attend regular classes.
An official statement said, “Parents should not send their children to university if the child is not feeling ill, as attendance is not mandatory.
