After the defeat of Sri Lanka, India has reached the final of the WTC i.e. World Test Championship. The title match will be against Australia in June. New Zealand defeated Sri Lanka by two wickets in an important match of WTC on Monday. After this the way for Team India was cleared. Australia topped the WTC tournament table. At the same time, India has confirmed the place at number two.
The final match of the World Test Championship will be held at the Oval Cricket Ground in London from 7 to 11 June. ICC has kept one day reserve for the match. This is the second season of the World Test Championship.
India had earlier played the final against New Zealand in 2021. Then the Kiwi team defeated India by 8 wickets in Southampton.

On the other hand, now if the Indian team loses the fourth Test match as well, then it will be left with 56.94% points, which will be more than Sri Lanka.
