Punjab National Bank (PNB) is going to increase the parde limit of withdrawal from its debit card. However, this limit will be only for high-end cards. PNB has notified its customers regarding this. The bank has also proposed to increase the daily Point of Sales (POS) limit.
1 lakh limit for these cards
As per the announcement, the daily ATM cash withdrawal limit will be increased from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh for Visa Gold Debit Card as well as Platinum MasterCard and Rupay cards. At the same time, the daily limit of POS transaction will be increased from 1.25 lakh to 3 lakh.
1.5 lakh limit for these cards
While the daily ATM cash withdrawal limit for Rupay Select and Visa Signature Debit cards will be increased from the existing Rs 50,000 to Rs 1.5 lakh. The daily limit for POS transactions for these cards will be raised from Rs 1.25 lakh to Rs 5 lakh.

This will be the maximum parday transaction limit of the Debit Card. PNB said in a statement, ‘Customers are advised to set their customized limit through Internet Banking, Mobile Banking App, PNB ATM, IVR or by visiting the base branch.’
