BJP MP from Karnataka scolds woman for not wearing bindi at Women’s Day celebration

S Muniswamy, BJP MP from Karnataka’s Kolar district, has created a new controversy with his remarks during a program on Women’s Day on March 8. On Women’s Day (8 March), he scolded a woman in a shop for not wearing bindi on her forehead. Now the BJP MP is being criticized a lot for this incident.

The BJP Lok Sabha MP from Kolar shouted at a woman vendor, “First put on the bindi, your husband is alive, isn’t it? You don’t have common sense.”
A video of the MP scolding the woman is also going viral on social media. Women are commenting a lot on the video and instructing the MP to respect women. While condemning the incident, the Congress party said that such incidents “reflect the culture” of the BJP. Earlier, Kolar MP S Muniswamy inaugurated the exhibition and sales fair on Women’s Day.
After this controversy, no clarification of MP Muniswamy has come to the fore yet.
