The application process has started for the scholarship scheme to be run by the ONGC Foundation of ONGC Limited, a public sector company under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India.

According to the advertisement published by ONGC Foundation in the latest Employment News (Week 28 January to 3 February 2023), the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Economically Weaker Sections are eligible under the ONGC Scholarship Scheme 2023. (IWS) A total of 2000 students of general categories will be given annual scholarship of Rs 48 thousand. 50% of these scholarships are reserved for girl students.

Educational Qualification

Only those students who belong to the prescribed categories can apply for the ONGC Scholarship Scheme 2023 and who have taken admission in Engineering, MBBS as well as MBA and Masters degree in Geology and Geophysics during the academic year 2021-23.
