We are talking about Aloo Matar which must be made in almost every house once or twice a week. Whenever there is confusion about making something, then in most of the houses, only potato and peas are cooked. But today we are going to tell you a completely different style recipe of Aloo Matar. The recipe of Aloo Matar has been shared by Master Chef Pankaj Bhadauria from his Instagram account. The special thing about this recipe of Aloo Matar is that it is made from fresh potatoes and fresh peas and its ingredients are completely different from the usual sabzi. The seasoning of this vegetable has been prepared before making this vegetable. So let’s know about the different style recipe of Aloo Matar by Master Chef Pankaj Bhadauria.

Ingredients-

  • 300 g new potatoes, small
  • 2 large onions
  • 3 large red tomatoes
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 3-4 green chilies
  • 1 tsp kashmiri red chili powder
  • coriander leaves

Vitamin E: If there is a deficiency of vitamin E, then include these fruits and vegetables in the diet.

For the seasoning:

  • 1 tbsp chana dal
  • tsp turmeric powder
  • Garam Masala Powder 1 tbsp
  • coriander powder
  • tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2 black cardamoms
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 8-10 black pepper
  • 1 tbsp green coriander
  • tsp fennel
  • 2 whole red chilies

Recipe for making Aloo Matar-

  • Although you must have made Aloo Matar Sabzi at home many times, but to make Matar Aloo Sabzi in a different style, first of all you have to prepare its spice.
  • To make spicy masala, gram dal, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin, black pepper, cardamom, bay leaves, cinnamon, coriander, fennel and red chillies,
  • Lightly roast all the spices and grind them to make a soft powder.
  • Now peel and wash the potatoes. Heat oil and add tsp salt to it. Fry the potatoes till golden brown. Sprinkle water over the potatoes and cook till the potatoes become soft and keep them aside.
  • In the next step, remove the extra oil leaving only 3 tbsp oil in the pan and add onion paste. Fry the paste till it turns golden. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, mix and add ginger garlic paste. Fry till the aroma comes.
  • Now add tomato paste and wait till oil starts leaving the top. Add spice mix. Add 1 cup of water and bring it to boil. Add fried potatoes, peas and cover and cook till the potatoes become soft.
  • Lastly add kasoori methi. Now garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
  • Your aloo matar ki hot delicious sabzi is ready. It can be enjoyed with roti, paratha and rice.
