If you are a wildlife lover, this park is just for you. It is 2 km from Almora city and it has black deer and leopards besides the magnificent deer. The beautiful flora and fauna are beautiful here and you can spend the whole day here. Admission here is free and the best time to visit is in April, October and November.

Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary (Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary)


Many people may have heard of this place which offers a huge variety of animals and birds to cure our eyes. It has beautiful streams and dense forests which are spread over 45.59 square kilometers. Bring your cameras along and take beautiful Instagram photos here. The entrance fee here is Rs 150 for adults and Rs 75 for students. The best month to visit here is between February to April.

Lakhudiar Cave (Lakhudiyar Cave)


It is an ancient prehistoric cave, which is said to be of stone age. If the historical past thrills you, then this is where you want to be. The hand painted paintings cannot be forgotten here as they depict the daily life of the caves. It is located in the village of Barechina and has free entry. The best time to visit is between the months of March to June and September to November.

Trek to the Zero Point (Trek to the zero point)


This is purely for trekkers as it is the best way to explore Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary with a beautiful view of 300 km wide wildlife and greenery after a 1.5 km trek. From this point, you can also see the peaks of Kedarnath peak, Nanda Devi, Shivling, and Trishul. Start this journey between February to April and from October to November.

There is something for everyone and how can we forget shopping lovers ?! This is where you should go, also known as Almora Bazaar, which is spread over 1.5 km. Each section here has a distinct feature and the shopping time is between 10 am to 6 pm.

Dwarahat Village (Dwarahat village)


If you are in Almora then this village is unmatched. This is where you get lost in the real culture, where children get to experience different lifestyles and how people live. The entry fee here is 1000 rupees and it should go in the months of April, May, June, September, October and November.
