Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has issued COVID-19 guidelines on Monday, April 5, amidst the growing havoc of Corona. The AMU guidelines urge all employees above 45 years of age to get COVID-19 vaccinated as per the government guidelines.
In addition, it has been made mandatory to wear masks and maintain social distancing on campuses including university offices, schools, colleges, libraries, departments, centers and hostels.

The AMU statement said, “The University has advised all its teachers, students and staff to wear masks in offices, schools, colleges, libraries, departments, centers and hostels. In view of the increasing COVID-19 cases across the country Necessary steps have been taken. “
Thermal scanning will be done on admission to university offices and hand washing facilities will also be provided in the university. Non-university employees will not be allowed to visit the AMU campus.
