MP from Hyderabad and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi has once again attacked the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Owaisi has said that the Sangh does not want Muslims to enter the politics of the country and sit in Parliament or legislatures. He tweeted, “Hindutva is built on the lie that only one community should have all the political power and Muslims should have no right to participate in politics. Our greater presence in Parliament and legislatures is a challenge against the Hindutva Union. Will work, if we can maintain our presence, we will celebrate. ”
This statement of the AIMIM chief is very important after winning five seats in the Bihar Legislative Assembly elections. This statement of Owaisi is also important because this is the first time that no Muslim face has become a minister in Nitish Kumar’s government. Apart from this, Muslim representation in elections in the country has also decreased. After winning in Bihar, Owaisi’s party AIMIM has emerged as a national party of Muslims.
In another tweet, targeting the BJP, Owaisi has said that the BJP governments are using the UAPA law against the poor, the exploited and the Muslims, to keep them imprisoned.
