Union Health Minister Harshvardhan said on Monday that the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has made a tremendous contribution to patient care, research and education during the Kovid-19 crisis and to remember the day-to-day leveling of AIIMS personnel. The Minister presided over the 47th Convocation of AIIMS along with Regional Director Poonam Khetarpal of WHO SEARO. Praising AIIMS founder Princess Amrit Kaur, she said that she approached other countries and international development partners to meet the shortage of funds with the aim of providing world-class medical education to common Indians.
He expressed happiness over the continuous efforts of the institute to continue its excellent performance in the field of health. He also warned against complacency and stagnation. The Health Minister said, “We have to change and progress. We should not be left behind in the changing world. “Praising the role of the institute during the Kovid-19 crisis, he said that AIIMS has made a big contribution in patient care, research and education during the Kovid-19 crisis. He said, “When we are recovering from this deepening epidemic, we should also remember the daily struggle of AIIMS fraternity. Our doctors are our real heroes. ”
