The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the results of class 12 on Monday afternoon. With this, the board has also started the 23rd edition of its annual post-result tele-counseling. This facility will be available for students and parents till 27 July. Students and parents will be able to get answers to their problems related to the board's results through telephonic, IVRS and messages. This facility can be availed from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.

73 counselors from India will be included

According to the board, 95 principals and trained counselors from CBSE-affiliated schools in India and abroad will provide free and voluntary counseling to students and parents. Apart from India, the service is also available in UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Japan, Oman and Singapore. During this period, 95 counselors including special teachers will answer questions from students and parents. These include 73 counselors from India and 22 from abroad.

Board issued toll free number

To answer the questions of Indian students, the board has issued a toll free number 1800 118 004. Students living in any part of the country can find solutions to their problems on this toll free number. Its purpose is to solve any kind of problem related to the result of students and parents and help in psychological problems.

Tele-counseling will be done in two ways

1. IVRS- In this, you can listen to the recording of tips given on students or parents stress, protection from Kovid-19, important contact details, exam results etc.

2. Live Tally – Counseling Under this, tally-operators will get students and parents to talk to their principals, counselors and special educators.
