Police identifying the dead
The identity of the dead is yet to be ascertained, though it is believed that all those who died were TMC workers. The police have not been able to ascertain till now what caused the blast. Police are also probing the possibility that someone may have thrown a bomb at the house. It is also feared that this blast has happened due to the explosion of a crude bomb kept in the house itself.

BJP blamed TMC only
BJP’s National Vice President Dilip Ghosh has blamed TMC for this blast. He has said that wherever there is a blast, TMC leaders are involved. All anti-social elements have found a place in this party so that they can remain in power. This is not surprising.
On the other hand, Bengal BJP President Sukanta Majumdar said about this blast that the TMC leader was making crude bombs at his house, during which the blast took place. He himself also died in the accident. TMC is trying to create an atmosphere of fear before the panchayat elections. Majumdar has demanded from Home Minister Amit Shah that the matter should be investigated.
