He flagged off the promotional chariots of several urban bodies including Sagar. Singh said, "Even after coming in contact with many people infected with the corona virus, I was protected from infection only due to masks and gloves." He said that mask is the simplest and cheapest way to avoid corona virus. Singh said that mask banks will be established in all bodies with the cooperation of donors and voluntary organizations. Here people will be able to donate masks and from here, private organizations and citizens can get masks. Masks will also be given at major intersections. He said that the transition in urban areas is more, so the role of urban bodies is important.
He appreciated the awareness vehicle rally organized in several bodies including Bhopal, Indore and Sagar. Singh said that a committee of 21 volunteers will be formed in all wards of urban bodies. Members of the committee will go door-to-door to distribute pumplets to citizens, along with drinking hot water, not using cold things, and applying masks when they get out of the house and observe social distancing.
